RedAntenna – Set The Music Free
Most music are available on the internet today, but only available for purchase in a handful of mega-retailers, which are now becoming so big and powerful that they dictate prices, terms and what music becomes popular. To counter this and to bring the bands closer their fans, RedAntenna is setting up thousands of small music shop, which does not aim centralize power and inflence. Here everybody can distribute freely and always collect payments. Why pay middlemen when you can sell directly to the consumers and earn much larger profits ?
RedAntenna thinks it’s time to free the music, but not to make music free.
Once you have registered your music with RedAntenna we track and control where and when they are put up for sale and sold, and make sure that the artist and/or copyright owners always get paid the correct amount on each sale.
The more MiniShops you setup the more people wil hear your music and buy it.. (if you are any good), so activate your friends and family and have them help your spread your MiniShops.
Once your first shop is live on your site, you don’t have to think about any technicalities. RedAntenna runs itself and updates automatically, every time RedAntenna adds new functionalites or product types
Copyrights
RedAntenna deals directly with artists, labels and digital distributors. The fewer middlemen you use for your digital distribution, the more you’ll make one each sale. RedAntenna takes copyrights very seriously and attempts to rights and handle payment to artist, labels and distributors.
Who can buy from my MiniShop?
If you hold the worldwide right to you music, then RedAntenna can sell it for you worldwide, and make sure that all of your customers can pay with their local creditscards. RedAntenna’s paymentsgateway does not only accept International creditcards like VISA and Mastercard, but also country specific cards.
How much do I keep ?
If you own all rights to your music and upload it directly to RedAntenna you’ll make 100% of the profits. RedAntenna does not add any commissions or fees to your sale. We do however make sure that the sales are legal, gets registered and appropriate sales taxes and the payment gateway cost are paid. Because RedAntenna negotiates with the payment gateway on behalf of all MiniShops this cost is held to and absolute minimum which benift both shopowners and end-customers
Monthly Payouts
100 % of the profits goes to you when you sell an album or song in your MiniShop. Hvor much you’ll make depends on if you yourself have uploaded music to RedAntenna, your prices and where it is sold. (Example in Dkr with 25% Danish VAT and 12% for mandatory composer rights organization)
- 8 kr single track = 5,30 kr left for you, once VAT, NCB and payment gateway are paid.
- 80 kr Album m. 10 tracks = 56,40kr for you, once VAT, NCB and payment gateway are paid.
RedAntenna does not make anything on each sale. All profit goes directly to the shopowner. You must minimum have had a turnover of 20 EUR to cashout. RedAntenna pays directly to the VISA or Mastercard you use to register your Shop with and there is no fees.
RedAntenna will make the payout to your digital distributor if you sell music which you haven’t uploaded directly to RedAntenna.
Composer rights organization
RedAntenna reports and makes a direct payout to rights organisations like KODA, ASCAP, BMG, GEMA on your behalf.
